ROAS Isn't A Metric. It's A Symptom.
By Divya Singh Chaturvedi
The ROAS Trap
Every agency promises a ROAS number. 5x. 7x. 10x.
Here's the truth: ROAS is not a goal. It's a consequence.
You get great ROAS when:
- Your listings convert above category average
- Your keywords match real buyer intent
- Your reviews build trust at first glance
- Your operations don't run out of stock during peak campaigns
Fix the system. ROAS follows.
The TMP Framework
We don't optimize for ROAS. We optimize for the inputs that produce it:
- Listing conversion rate
- Keyword-to-product relevance score
- Review velocity & rating floor
- Inventory days-of-cover
Do that, and ROAS becomes boringly predictable.
